- Teaching intensive role on Low Intensity programmes - Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) & Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) - preparing content, delivery and processes
- Module convenor (PYMEAC) – undertaking moderation, oversight of module, learning objectives, assessment and evaluation and understanding wider HEI policies and procedures
- Academic tutor for multiple cohorts
- Marking on both courses – variety of assessment formats (live marking, video marking, written reports)
- Interviewing for new cohorts
Areas of interest
Trainee Wellbeing: Enhancing the wellbeing of trainees in clinical programmes by fostering compassion towards themselves and others. This training involves techniques such as mindfulness, self-compassion exercises, and compassionate imagery, which help trainees manage stress, reduce burnout, and improve their emotional resilience.Engagement skills: teaching and supporting the development of skills within trainee's to support the mental health of children and young people (CYP). These skills help build trust, foster open communication, and create a supportive environment for Low Intensity CBT to be effectively implemented.
Working with parents: Supporting parents to feel skilled and confident in supporting their CYP's mental health difficulties, particularly anxiety.
