糖心视频 Education Research Network

糖心视频 Education Research Network (RERN)

The 糖心视频 Education Research Network (RERN) Community of Practice (CoP) is a multidisciplinary forum for 糖心视频 members dedicated to advancing pedagogical and andragogical theory and practice. The CoP is aligned with the University’s strategy to:

  1. Create stronger academic communities of practice by bringing together educators and researchers across disciplines to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, experience, and expertise, thereby enhancing the quality of both teaching and research at the University.
  2. Support individual research and scholarship in teaching and learning, contributing to the University’s commitment to excellence and innovation in education, with a focus on transforming lives and creating environments where students and staff can excel.
  3. Facilitate networking among colleagues, capturing and sharing good practices to promote academic excellence and fostering a culture where success is not only achieved but also shared, celebrated, and rewarded within the community.
  4. Link with other relevant groups within the University, such as the Advancement of Business Education Research (ABER) and Open and Robust Research, to build interdisciplinary connections that strengthen academic communities.
  5. Enhance the visibility of pedagogical scholarship across the University through the dissemination of research outputs, contributing to the University’s aspiration to be in the top quartile in the UK for teaching and research.
  6. Promote programme enhancement and improve the student experience by integrating pedagogical scholarship with strategic themes such as Sustainability, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), ensuring that educational programmes are responsive to contemporary challenges and aligned with the University’s principles.
  7. Collaborate with external partners, including industry, government, NGOs, and accrediting bodies, to extend the impact of our research beyond the University, in alignment with the principle of being an Engaged University.

Membership of the CoP is open to:
